In this blog, we will discuss  new feature which is been launched by Samsung company on their Samsung Smart things App named as " Samsung Smartthings Find ".As the name suggests with help of this feature you can find your lost or misplaced Samsung Dervices.we will discuss about the full feature and how it work in this blog.

Design : 

This Find feature is available for Samsung service with Android 8 or later and for Samsung watches with titezen 3.3 or later .To enable this feature you should have to update App and then so a small registration process to enable this feature in your Samsung dervices.

How this works :

This Smartthings Find feature works on 2 main things I.e BLE ( Bluetooth Low Energy ) and UWB ( Ultra Wide Band ) , so next we will discuss about the these features before you into the main stuffs.

Bluetooth Low Energy :

This features works on sending radio signals our from it's dervices.BLE is available in all day to day electronics dervices but it will be on sleep mode you have to initiative it to began the process I.e if the your Samsung dervices is offline for more than 30 minutes them it will start sending the BLE signals which you can receive those signals in the Smatthings App .So with help of this app you can find the dervice location .The main Advantage of this feature is that it will work on offline itself and you can use it for finding your single earbuds also ,which will be useful for lots of people.

Ultra Wide Band :

This feature is similar to BLE but the main difference is its bandwidth ( frequency ) in which the feature will work and the energy consumption is very low for both the features.

Main Feature 

So now coming to the main stuff you can use this feature for finding your lost dervice with help of your Samsung phone .Thier is a additional in built optional feature in which suppose , if your Samsung phone is lost then you can just find for  someone who use Samsung phones near you and just enter the app in their phone and send a mail to Samsung company and they will respond to your mail by sending you the lost dervice location when they get the full data.
